assorted collection of out-take photos not used on the main walk
pages, but worthy of an airing for our canine fans.

The stars of the show
Casper is a Bearded Collie (born 15th November 2003)
who accompanies me on most of my walks. He is a faithful companion
with a great character with seemingly boundless energy. Casper's
main interests are eating and fell running in that order.
Dougal is a Bearded Collie (born 8th May
2009) from the same lineage as Casper (Sylvabrae Bearded
Collies). He also loves eating and as he grows I am sure he will
love fell walking too!
Angus (09.03.96 to 03.06.09) was my original
StridingEdge Bearded Collie fell walking companion who accompanied
me on many walks until 2008. He has gone now (but never forgotten)
and his ashes are scattered on the summit of Coniston Old Man so
that he can be on the fells he loved forever. Spare a thought for
Angus when you are next up there and listen carefully, you may hear
his barks carried on the wind...
