The Angus Diaries - June 2005
We finally made it to summer in June with
some walks on very hot days. Of course, the main thing for a Beardie is
to keep cool, so there was plenty of swimming and muddy bog wallowing
going on this month! Here is a selection of all new 'out-takes' from the
June Angus diary....

A big pink tongue and a sepia sky on Beacon Fell.

Caught mid-shake after a swim in the
River Duddon.

Having another good swim in Low Water
below The Old Man of Coniston.

Soaking up some rays on Water Crag.

Above Borrowdale on Castle Crag.

It must have been the hottest day of
the year this one - taking a well deserved dip and getting a clean-up in Greenup Gill.
See the muddy 'chocolate soup' experience on Eagle Crag prior to this
swim

Muddy yet again on the Fusedale
Circuit.
