The Angus Diaries - October 2005

Summer turned to Autumn and the weather started to get colder and decidedly wetter this month. We still managed to get out for a few good walks though - here is another selection of all new 'out-takes' from the October Angus diary....

A magnificent place for a swim in a summit tarn on Wetherlam.

"You can't expect me to get over here!". Issuing a refusal at the end of the Wet Sleddale Horseshoe. Hurry up - the cows are coming!

Not quite big enough for a swim on the summit of Caw.

The superb backdrop of Helvellyn and the eastern fells on the way to Place Fell. A great place for a lie down.
