The Angus Diaries -
March 2006
Snow gave way to lots more snow and some
quite severe weather this month, eventually turning to rain and lots
more rain! Of course, all this is part of a days work for a fell walking
Beardie; Angus certainly takes it all in his stride. Here is another selection of all new 'out-takes' from the
March 2006 Angus diaries.
Before you look at the diaries - has anyone seen
this!! Hollywood beckons, Angus!

It's a bit slippery on the snow and ice on Helvellyn.

No crampons for me dad?

This is a steep way down to Grisedale Tarn.

It looks like I am going to slide all the way down
here!

A run on the beach at Roanhead.

Bark...

...bark...

...sshhh....

....BARK!!

Golden glow from the setting sun.

Handsome or what? A bit damp on High Tove.

How am I going to get over this fence?

Like this - Ger...

...on...

...imo!

This is what I call rock climbing on Shivery Knott.

It was a bit cold and severe on top of Walna Scar pass...

...and at Goat's Hawse.

But still time and energy for a little bark on the way
to The Old Man.

More snow on the way to Harter Fell, but a different
sort of day altogether.

This is nice snow...

...where I can bask in the sun on the summit of Harter
Fell.

The rain is coming! On Lothwaite overlooking
Bassenthwaite Lake and Skiddaw.
