The snow has all but gone now though it has still been a
bit chilly at times. The dogs have managed to hang onto their coats for
a bit longer than usual this year but the shears are at the ready
sometime soon boys! Dougal is rapidly approaching his first birthday and
he seems to be an accomplished fellwalker these days but check out the
DougalCam to get a glimpse into his manic world and enjoy the rest of
this series of out takes known as the Dog Daze!
Looks like Dougal has spotted something down there...
...ah yes, it looks like there is a stray sheep that needs
rounding up. Not today Dougal - here boy!
'Where did Casper go? He's lying so low I can't
see him anywhere'.
Dougal decides he won't chew all the furniture on our
patio today but have a go with this old root instead.
I hope that puddle is not as horrible, muddy and smelly
as it looks boys!
'Well, just in case it's not bad enough, I'll have a roll
around in this sheep poo as well just to make sure'...
..the aftermath - thanks Casper, that looks just great.
There are no trees or bushes up here on High Street but Dougal manages
to find the only stick around.
'Can we bring it with us, can we, can we...?'
This is the best way for those two mucky pups to get
clean at the end of a walk.
Dougal and Casper on Birkrigg.
The DougalCam - prepare to feel motion sickness with this
one!
StridingEdge.net gets a mention in the May 2010
edition of Reader's Digest (available in the shops now) and I am pretty sure
Kate Nash will be pleased to be basking in the reflected glory of being on the
same page as Dougal and Casper!
Late update 2nd May 2010 - the gruesome twosome get a haircut...
