 Dog Daze! - May 2010Casper

The walks haven't been quite so prolific this month due to illness and hopefully June will prove to be better. The boys had a rude awakening to summer at the beginning of the month with smart new haircuts courtesy of Vidal McMahon's salon (bookings now being taken!). Dougal and Casper met up with some of their fans on our walk in Wasdale and we even met Joss Naylor who remembered Casper from last time we were talking - well, how could he forget the legend that is Casper?!! I hope you enjoy this latest in the series of misfits and out take photos from the diaries of the Dog Daze!

Praying for a drink on Beacon Fell.

Hunting for his hair.

'Let’s all do the conga....'

Casper neatly catches a piece of flying ham....

...it’s a struggle but he manages to get it all in!

Dougal demonstrates the new sport of mouth pole vaulting.

Dougal: 'Oooohhh...you listen you. I’m fed up with this weather!'.

Dougal the crocodile.

Caught in the flash.

'We'd love to go in for a swim but Dad says we must sit here until we are allowed!'

‘I’ll look over this way Dougal and you look under the lily pad. I can’t see those geese anywhere!’

‘Pssst...who d’you reckon that fella is taking photos of us Dougal?’

Some photos taken by the StridingEdge.net walking team on Middle Fell, thanks to all for the contributions...

Skulking off whilst no one is looking.

Me talking to the legend, Joss Naylor.

'Where did everyone go?'.

Give us a kiss Dougal.

Light refreshment after the walk.

From the back page of the Westmorland Gazette...fame for Casper and well, it's nearly right as we're actually in Bowness.

Warhol Dougal.
