The 2012 StridingEdge.net Christmas Quiz

At last, it's here - the eagerly awaited 2012 Christmas Quiz. This year is even bigger and better than ever with a fantastic prize of a holiday cottage for an off-peak week (i.e. outside the school holidays) in Ambleside. This prize is worth up to £500.

The Rookery is a small development of three self-catering holiday cottages in Ambleside just yards from the village centre with all mod cons (including Wi-Fi so you can keep up to date with StridingEdge.net!) and of course handy for the fells.

The competition is now closed, there are over 50 answers with the correct answers so it is down to the tie-breaker! The winner will be announced soon, thanks to everyone who entered, I hope you enjoyed the festive fun. Congratulations to the winner Roy Drake who wins a week at The Rookery in Ambleside. Well done to Roy, it all came down to the tie-breaker and he was a mere 7m away with a special mention to Ian Hanley who was (and this took a bit of applied Pythagoras to work out by Martin, it's a good job he has his maths O-Level!) a mere 55cm further away!
